George Benson, the renowned jazz, R&B and soul musician, was just nominated for a Grammy for Best Surround Sound album for his, “Songs and Stories”.  We are honored to have him on Monster Music!  “Head Monster” Noel Lee played a key role in the mix of the album as a surround producer along with John Burk and Marcus Miller.  The album was released on a Monster HDS High Definition Surround Sound SuperDisc featuring the surround sound SuperDisc for DVD players and the regular stereo CD mix.

Benson offers a selection on “Songs and Stories” that will please his jazz, R&B, and soul fans alike.  JazzReview.com noted, “it’s time for his entire audience to realize he’ll probably never focus on just one aspect of his art any more, but this recording comes as close as he’s ever come in successfully mixing it all together.”
