Monster and Tron fans, we have recently determined that we will not be able to meet the planned April release date for the Tron T1 and T3 headphones. We truly appreciate the interest you have shown in the Tron Headphones and assure you that no one is more disappointed than the Monster team about the delay.

As much as we would like to be shipping the Trons now, the simple fact of the matter is that we will never release a product that doesn’t live up to the expectations that we demand and you deserve. We worked extremely hard to meet the April release date, but the initial production run of the Tron headphones did not meet our standards for quality and aesthetics. Rather than simply release a sub-standard headphone and risk disappointing our best customers, we had to make the hard decision to delay the release and bring out Monster-quality headphones later than originally planned.

Right now, we have two target dates. The T3 in-ear headphones are scheduled to be available in the U.S. and Canada during the first week of May. Next, the T1 Gaming Headphones (in black) and the T1 Daft Punk Special Edition Headphones (in white) are scheduled to be available by mid-August.

Until then, we want to show you our appreciation for your patience by offering a special-edition High Definition Sound (HDS) version of the Tron Legacy soundtrack free to you when you do order a Tron headphone! You absolutely can’t get this HDS disk anywhere else, and we hope that you’ll enjoy listening to the sounds of Daft Punk with your Tron-inspired Monster Gaming Headphones when they are released this summer.

To receive your Tron Legacy HDS soundtrack, simply shoot our team an email to social@monstercable.com. At that time you will be asked to send proof of purchase in order to be eligible to receive the HDS disk. Orders from any authorized Monster dealer are eligible for this special promotion.
